Facilities
After sitting in a treestand and pursuing Ohio whitetail, come and relax in our lodging facilities.  Comprised of 3 bedrooms, each with 2 XL Twin beds; a full kitchen; a walk-in shower; satellite tv with TIVO and the Outdoor Channel; and a back porch gas grill.  The kitchen includes everything you'll need, plus some:  A full-sized refrigerator and stove, microwave, utensils, silverware, dinnerware, and cookware.

We provide your sheets, pillowcases, blankets, and towels.  You just need to bring yourself and your gear.  We have a large deep freezer available for deer meat in addition to a large walk-in freezer.  The lodging has Electric heat and Air Conditioning.

In 2008, we began working on a recreational building that includes an additional bathroom facility, washer and dryer, 9' competition pool table; and dart board.  In 2009, we hope to add a large tv and additional kitchen facilities to the rec building.  We also plan to add the Sports Pack channels from Directv so you can keep up with the games.

ARRIVAL:  We expect our clients to arrive the day before the first day of their hunt.  Typically, this is Sunday afternoon.   After arrival, we show you around and get you situated so you can begin hunting first thing the next morning.

DEPARTURE:  We expect our clients to leave the morning after the last day of their hunt.  Typically, this is Saturday morning.

Many clients request to come earlier or leave later, but unfortunately this leaves us little time to clean the lodging facilities, change all of the linens, and restock the pantry.  We kindly request you adhere to our set arrivals and departures so we can provide you a clean, well-stocked lodging facility.

We are a family business and work very hard to give you a quality hunt for the price.    We want you to make us your your yearly destination.

TRANSPORTATION, FOOD PLOTS, and TREESTANDS

The majority of our hunting grounds are located within 5 miles of our lodging.  Some of our locales are best reached by on-road vehicle.  Often our repeat clients prefer to drive themselves to these areas giving them greater flexibility on when to come in.  Some of the locales can be walked to.  Otherwise, we drive our semi-guided clients to or near the hunting stands either via our Ford F150 Crew Cab 4x4 Truck or one of our Kawasaki Mule Transport 4x4s.  We use Bright Eyes to mark the trails to the stands to make your trek easier from the road to the stand.

In the off-season, we work hard to plant quality food plots for all year round.  Our goal is to provide good nutrition and quality habitat to attract and retain whitetails.  For example, in 2008, we planted Biologic's Clover Plus, Whitetail Institute's Whitetail Clover, Buck Forage's Oats, Round Up Ready's Field Corn, Jumbo Medina Clover, and alfalfa.

We use various tree stands, including Big Game, Cabela's, and Gander Mountain.  We place these 20 footers in pre-scouted areas where deer naturally are drawn to.  Due to our year-round scouting, feeding, and working food plots, we are very familiar with the deers' habits and changes in them.

We also have blinds available for those hunters who prefer to or need to stay near the ground.  In the last year we have also added some buddy stands to accomodate youth hunters and first-timers.  In 2009, we anticipate building a few shooting houses for both our gun and archery hunters.  We expect they will be appreciated on foul weather days.
